Help me form my Pokemon Emerald Team.

I restarted my pokemon Emerald game and I want to form a team (I'm really bad at making teams). This is what I plan to have: Sceptile (Treecko) Gardevoir (I have Ralts) Slaking (I might remove this guy but it has killer attack) (I have slakoth) Aggron (Haven't got it) Salamance (Haven't got it) Gyarados (Haven't got it) I'm not sure if I should get any fire types, I really dislike Hoeen fire type pokemon besides Blaziken and Torkoal (Kinda). Any improvements? Any suggestions, should I remove some pokemon? What pokemon Should I get? Thank You for taking your time to help me.

Get rid of garadose, and get Cacturne. He has some dark moves and some grass moves. He's very powerful and useful.

Looks like a good team. I'm currently replaying through it too, so I can transfer the legendaries over to X & Y. My team is: Blaziken Tropius Sharpedo Lairon (Aggron) Grumpig Wailmer (HM Slave)

Depends if it includes legendaries or not because of the Battle Tower? No legendaries: all 3 starters + take your pick. Salamence, Metagross, Tyranitar etc.

  • That looks like a good team. And I mean you can just teach salamance some fire type moves if you want.

Sceptile Gardevoir Hariyama Swellow Salamence (teach it a Fire- type move) Milotic (replace with Gyarados) Gyarados isn't very good in this generation because his STAB Water- type attacks are special attacks and it has a low special attack stat. Milotic has a decent, if not high, special attack stat.
