Help, flood/#gaming! I have too many games that I have to play! It's a long story so suffice to say right now I've got SEVEN PlayStation 3 games I either haven't beat or played yet that I want to finish before my hard drive fills up too much. I want to play all of these games, but many of them I haven't even touched, so here's the list... Metal Gear Solid 4 - never played God of War 3 - never played Valkyria Chronicles - never played Fallout 3 - played once on Xbox 360 years ago and wasn't impressed, but after falling in love with Skyrim, I'm ready to give this another shot. Tomb Raider (2013) - Played the first 1-2 hours of. Very impressed so far. Bioshock: Infinite - Played a lot... I just got the Burst Gun. Also very fun game. Infamous 2 - Monster has arrived in "thinly-disguised New Orleans." A total blast. And I'm also on the final boss of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword AND Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but the final bosses there are SUPER tough and I am frightened, so I guess that's like... nine games total. I DON'T want to play too many games at once because I know I'll get the plots and characters and storylines all mixed up and it won't be fun for me. So, which game should I beat first? inb4firstworldproblems/goodproblemtohave UPDATE 4-16-14 In case this thread gets necrobumped... Since starting this thread, I've gotten around to beating BioShock: Infinite (Loved it!) and Tomb Raider (Loved it, hated the limited replayability and lack of sequence breaking/easter eggs/secrets I didn't uncover on my first playthrough). I've also started to play God of War 3 and it's a pretty cool game although I think I'm dying a LOT more than most players usually would. I'm also pretty deep into Valkyria Chronicles and while parts of it are cheesy, the gameplay and the character development have got me pretty hooked and I'm really digging it even after 12 hours. Oh, and I also beat Lord of the Rings: War in the North, another game that I forgot to list here earlier, and that game was pretty cool despite a very clunky combat system. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has left a surprisingly bad taste in my mouth (and a burn-in on my HDTV that thankfully went away after a few hours...). I'm pretty shocked to find that I find the gameplay AND the story here to both be overly complex and convoluted, despite my being a pretty big fan of the first two games. This game has made me realize that Hideo Kojima has just had his head stuck up his ass as a result of working on pretty much just one franchise for 25 years and I'd honestly like to slap him upside the head for every piece of childish toilet humor he shoehorns into his pretentious conspiracy-theory story. Maybe I'll rant about that more later. And Fallout 3... *sigh* I'm still not really feeling it. I tried this game four years ago and didn't like it because I'd never tried an open-world RPG before and I wasn't used to that. Then I picked up Skyrim and after 300 hours of happily adventuring in that magical land, I thought I'd come in to this with a better mindset. But Fallout 3 continues to annoy me with its drab art style that leaves me depressed and confused about my orientation. Keeping my inventory in top "CND" (because writing "condition" would break the immersion I suppose...) is also a chore that I derive little pleasure from, and I know this is an older game but I really wish the upgrade system were more flexible like the one in Skyrim. I'll continue to try Fallout 3, but it's definitely not sank its hooks into me like I expected it to. Still need to finish Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Infamous 2. xD I'll get around to it eventually. Thank you for all your kind comments! :)
