I will preface my post by stating that I did not, nor do I have plans to buy Titanfall.
What the release of Titanfall means to me, is that it is a great -blam!-ing day for the other games I play!
Battlefield 4 (Xbox One), Forza 5, and World of Tanks (360) are going to see a drastic decline in the populations of squeakers and trolls as they all move to the new shooter on the block!
I might get some matches in BF4, Forza, and WoT where I don't get stuck with the randoms who either look at the sky while running in circles, or actively work against their own team.
This makes me pretty damn excited, and because of this I hope Titanfall is a -blam!-ing rockstar of a success. :D

I think you mean that now you'll have a chance not to suck because all the good people are playing a new game.

Edited by DEZARATH: 3/11/2014 2:23:00 PMMaybe Multiplayer just needs to be a friends only experience. The only way you can play online in a PVP match is with an established team. Random encounters in matchmaking perhaps should be closed to horde modes and speed runs that form teamwork. Out of the thousands of Firefight games I played I've met plenty of dicks, but also some really great friends in the game itself. Just musing here Nox. But MP games are getting killed by these squeakers and team killers. I think Destiny has the right of it by reducing the number of players you actually run into so it's more personal over the standard Internet anonymous douche baggery associated with it.

Edited by FairlySplendid: 3/11/2014 9:10:43 PMQuestion for those who have played it: My understanding is the campaign turned out to be H4 Spartan Ops style? I've heard next to nothing about it since launch and it peaked my interest.

Edited by A Metroid: 3/11/2014 3:28:46 PMYeah man, I'm tired of people running away when I'm repairing their tank or helping them. Better yet people will actually mark targets now.

Thankfully the barrier of entry for PC gaming keeps most of those people out of it so I can play Titanfall without having to deal with that.
