You know, endings that can be interpreted in many ways or endings that aren't really "definite". Basically allowing the viewer to decide what happens next. An example would be Halo 3's legendary ending (well, if you ignore the new trilogy). Also for anime fans, stuff like Code Geass would fit the bill. *This thread isn't specific to any type of medium.
