Google will keep those patents and Motorola's skunkworks team, and Lenovo is hoping to use its experience with the ThinkPad (bought from IBM) to also turn Motorola into a success. Motorola has been bleeding money for a long time, though its recent handsets and policies have earned them praise from super influential internet forums.
