So why can't Destiny be developed for PC?
I mean aside from the real reason, M$ and $ony pressuring Bungie into helping them sell more of their anemic consoles, what gets in the way of a Destiny PC port?
Surely it can't be technical, they can make the game run on 360, which is like 8 years old now. It's not architecture, since the new consoles are basically PCs with fewer features. It's certainly not cost, the PC market would eat Destiny up.
I can't seem to find any real reason at all.

Its Because 80% of games are selling on konsoles. Search by Google if you dont belive.

Sorry and this isnt meant in a harsh way but "you have no power here" its the devlopers complete choice on whether too create a game for pcs and for consoles or for just consoles alone.

9 RepliesPC gets plenty of games for itself that are never seen on a console. If your not a PC elitist then you should already own at least a PS3 or 360. If you want to play the game buy it for one of the consoles. Their are plenty of PC games console players won't ever see and they don't constantly bring it up.

Because Bungie knows they can't complete with the god tier PC game of CoD: Ghosts. A game which has surpassed all expectations. It will be another decade before a game will topple Ghosts on PC.

Activision already has WOW and they have been working on a new mmo project called 'titan'. From a business perspective they will just be cannibalizing their own sales. Also MMOs are not subscription based anymore. Activision will most likely want a different game based on in game purchases, something you won't see in Xbox. That would drastically change Destiny from console to PC. Anyway i don't remember bungie giving a firm [b]no[/b] on the PC so don't rule it out.

3 Repliesbecause call of duty ghosts already rules the pc gaming landscape and destiny will never be able to compete with call of duty. the only reason destiny can even hope to make sales on consoles is because pc cod is more popular and takes up the most population.
