That's 12 human players plus the AI. To those who are used to the small-scale battles of most Halo and CoD gametypes, I assume this won't be a big deal. Some Battlefield folks may be a little annoyed. I trust the developers to figure out what works for their games.

If anyone here complains about it, please watch this video. It was actually quite the smart decision by the Devs.
-
Seems more like a downgrade but I guess that's ok considering 8v8 can be just as fun as a 2v2.
-
6v6 is perfect. No one like a clusterfuck, especially with mechs...
-
I came so close to actually liking this game, and then this shit shows up.. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep playing all my other games. Watch_Dogs gets the preorder, folks.
-
A.I? Makes me think of Battlefront. If I could play this game offline with A.I. I buy it in a heart beat.

*grabs popcorn*

Do we really need 64 mechs on the battlefield? Different games have different scales. Besides, it sounds like Battlefront and Firefight Versus from Halo Reach. Great things together it seems.

Here is a legit conversation between people who have played it. Good insight on 6v6
also it's funny when they call out sony fanboys.
Titanfall: Why 6 vs. 6 is Fine http://m.ign.com/videos/2014/01/08/titanfall-why-6-vs-6-is-fine-podcast-unlocked

People can't judge this because they haven't even played it yet.
-
It is surprising news, but I think people are making this out to be worse than it actually is. I'll at least get the game in my hands first before making a judgement like that.

Edited by nao: 1/8/2014 7:00:02 PMThe price of this game is quickly becoming a joke to me. Feel bad for the fools who go for this:
The game's Collector's Edition costs $249.99 and includes a 20-inch Titan statue.
This is going to be good
-
Truly next gen. No single player. 6v6 matches. £45 price tag.

Edited by Xmark120: 1/8/2014 7:06:31 PMI haven't been on B.net for a couple of months now. But now that I'm back, I'm noticing that the straight out fanboy praise for this game has somewhat diminished.
-
That's a little disappointing but I'm a battlefield gamer so I'm used to 32v32
-
Edited by Hylebos: 1/8/2014 7:05:48 PMI honestly can't remember the size of the build I played at Pax. I'd like to say it was at least 3v3, but I'm not sure.

I don't get the appeal of having less human players and adding AI.
-
It really should've been switched. AI should never be put over the players.
-
ROFLMAO
-
There was already a huge thread on this, I'm sure you saw it.
-
Games that go over 24 player matches tend to end up as cluster-blam!-s anyway.
-
It's also filled with Ai, so this might be as chaotic as a normal human vs human match at 24 players or higher. If not, oh boy.
