Is equal parts nostalgic and cringe inducing. I just got done looking at some posts I made in my earlier years here, and frankly, they were almost unrecognizable to me. Part of this was my penchant for 'internet slang' at the time...had to face-palm at more than a couple.
Anyways, for the sake of discussion: have you looked at any of your posts from several years ago, (no matter the site in question) and said "Who the hell said this?" while scratching your head?
Remember kids, this shit will be around forever. On the bright side, we don't ever have to worry about 'lolcats' being lost to history.

Yeah I've recently looked back at some older posts of mine on this forum. Many spelling mistakes and many XD faces.. :I

http://halo.bungie.net/Search/default.aspx?q=Rax21&g=5 Yes. I looked at my posts on my 1st account which were from 2011. I've matured greatly and I put a hell of a lot more thought into them.

I never talked much and when I did say something, it was dumb. I shaped up right quick to the rules. Now I still don't talk so much, but at the very least excluded most of the dumb. I try not to step on peoples toes and avoid anything too offensive. However, I do have a bit of a habit for overstepping bounds in a sarcastic or humerous manner, which has led to some bans in the past and as of late.

That reminds me we've almost had a year of forum posts on b.next. I'm going to download them all and see what I can pull out of it.

I really wish I still had my saved threads handy. I may have dropped leet speak with the best of 'em, but I had moments of brilliance...too bad they usually got me banned.

Edited by Ad Hoc: 12/31/2013 12:49:02 PMYes, I've looked at posts that are 6+ years old. It was definitely cringe worthy, but that just means I've improved. Meh.

Yeah people probably thought I was retarded.
