So I was watching Two Towers this morning for the hundredth time and I'm trying to figure out the symbolism behind Rohan's flag falling before Aragorn as he enters Edoras.
Or is there no symbolism?

I used to hate this stuff in school but now I find it quite fun.
Kill me.
I think it's supposed to show how Edoras has fallen from glory under the influence of Grima/Camnator and the way it lands at Aragorn/Gandalf's feet shows how their is still hope from them to save it.
