Destiny looks like a Borderlands clone. I've seen the e3 demo and it looked pretty boring. Seems like you just go running around killing aliens just to get guns and going to "new worlds". I want to like it but I just don't see the hype
Maybe you guys can convince to like the game?

BEGINNING TRANSMISSION: (Low melodious hum.) No. ENDING TRANSMISSION:
-
Uhh last I checked we are not your bitch! Convince yourself

Why should you need others to convince you? Research the game, find out about the storyline, races, classes, etc. And determine if that it something you are interested in. I don't see why you can't decide for yourself. Maybe wait until it comes out, read the reviews, borrow a copy and determine your decision from there.

Well it's got a lot of elements from a lot of genres (sci-fi, fantasy, mythical, historical modernization, mystery) that are popular for good reason and it'll be made by Bungie so the mixture should be on point (with Bungie's experience in sandbox shooters and MP Matchmaking, gameplay is going to be revolutionary to say the least). Plus there's the bonus that all of this is going on in actual locations inside our solar system which has been changed by a 'hint' of Space Magic to spice things up. That's definitely something that personally, I want to experience. It's up to you whether you'll like it or not. I'm not exactly sure what you want explained, so there's the broad description of what I think will make Destiny awesome.

I'd Say if it seemed similar to anything Gameplay wise, maybe Defiance more than BLs, but Honestly, this game has had way more time and effort put into it, to keep things alive. plus the concept of the game, an Open world shooter, with on the fly match-making, is unique, and definitely worth investigating. Pre-order it from Gamestop, its $60 and if you're a Power-up rewards member and you return it withing a business week, you get a full refund.

Don't get destiny Simple
-
It is a sci-fi with a different story.. I don't care whether or not you are going to get it, but I am interested...
-
Bungie created it that's the only way I can convince you
-
I think it will have a pretty good story; it will have competitive multiplayer; the concept may seem similar to Borderlands, but I think it's a bit different here: there are some areas, some very big areas and while you go on your own you can meet other players and fight with them; you can customize everything; there will be other features Bungie stiil has to announce.
