There will also be a Collectors Edition, that will retail at $249.99.
Are you looking forward to Titanfall?
Apparently $250 was the lowest they could go.

I'll never spend $250 on a collectors edition. I would be killing my wallet.
-
Dayumm $399 AUD. That's only 100 dollars less than buying a next gen console lol, fuck that
-
$250 USD??? -blam!-ing really? Reach Legendary Edition: $150 USD (also came with a statue, some pretty cool add-ons, etc.) The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector's Edition: $100 USD (came with a statue, Art book, "making of" DVD) $250 is ridiculous.
-
The game doesn't appear that interesting to me. I'll be passing
-
$250 version comes with Campaign..... It cost extra.
-
You could buy 8" diecast MechWarrior figures for like $20 at GameStop. Given that the artbook probably costs them basically nothing because it's all content they created in production, you're looking at a plastic figurine for like $150. You've gotta be insane to buy that.
-
-
250 dollars for those 3 things?
-
While Titanfall looks pretty cool, $250 seems a little steep for what you're getting in the collector's edition. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (as I never purchase the collector's edition of games), but don't most usually go for around $150 at most?
-
$249.99 Jesus.
-
Halo: Reach Legendary Edition also had a badass statue plus better add ons and bonuses and only cost $150. So wtf is this trash for $250? Sorry, but I'll get the regular edition
-
The statue actually looks pretty awesome, however, $250 is a little ridiculous. I could justify $200 MAX.
-
I'm kind of glad it's in March since I think Destiny is coming in May.
-
If it was Killzone.....then maybe.
-
I don't understand why they do this. It's a new IP, it's unproven, people know nothing about how well the game will play, and they release a pricey collectors edition? That doesn't seem logical to me.
-
For 250 dollars I expect that statue to be made out of solid silver. Or bronze. Or both.
-
I only clicked this to see what the collectors edition looked like. Now I was expecting a figurine, poster and artbook. The bare minimum that they get away with these days. But $250?! That's over £150 by my rough calculation. AHHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh my :'D That truly is priceless. £150 for a model, book and poster, what is this? Games Workshop?! lololol. Seriously, that is a -blam!-ing joke.
-
TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY YOU ESS DOLLARS! But that statue looks like the sex.
-
Collectors edition is super expensive.
-
If it's good I'll wait till it's on PS4. Or if I have an X1 by then I'll get it on that.
-
Titanfall money, money titanfall CoD, Respawn "trying to reach to everyone" money. Hey? Money.
$
-
I'm still not sold on 'Titanfall' yet... I've seen the gameplay trailers, and it looks suspiciously like CoD, almost too much for my tastes. However; it does highlight some interesting in-game mechanics that give it a fresh face. The "wall kick" while using a jet-pack makes me think of certain Crysis mechanics that would be enjoyable during the course of a match. The mech use obviously reminds me of the 'Mechwarrior' series, but the ability to engage it in "Auto" mode and leave a two-story fully armored and armed Mech as a sentry is something new. Just to name a few of the things I saw. I'm not too thrilled about the continued use of metal gun-sights, but that's something I can live with and adapt to. Overall, it looks like a well constructed game, but I just don't know if I want it yet.

Edited by Kilo: 10/23/2013 12:44:22 AMFor 250 dollars I'd expect the statue to be a RC robot that shoots airsoft bbs at people.
-
Available for XBOX ONE, Xbox 30 and PC
Typo! Pre-order canceled! No, but seriously, this game will kick ass.
-
$250? God damn. I thought I was stupid for spending $120 on the Arkham Origins collector's edition.

Edited by Verios44: 10/23/2013 12:08:52 AMSo you get - 190 page hardcover art book - game - 18 in titan statue - atlas schematic poster Game $60 Poster $20 to $30 Art book $20 to $40 Statue lets say $40 So educated guessed total price of $170 max. And thats about it... Wow. Definitely not worth $250. $125 or $130 sounds right.
