The 'trending' option seems incredibly broken...some threads only have a handful of replies, others have a couple hundred, and they rarely seem to change. So what exactly is the point of this? It's the default sorting option, so clearly Bungie designed it with a purpose, so can anyone clear this up for me?

I blame Stosh.

I propose we get this thread into trending. But, uh... how?

"Trending": Most popular threads in the last year sorted by popularity, which is derived from likes/dislikes and how recent the post was made "Highest Rated": Threads sorted by how many raw likes they have, all time (then by latest) "Favorites" : A new name for "Liked" - essentially your Saved Threads list - all topics you've liked and created. Also, groups have a small adjustment - all of their displays show all threads, not just ones made in the last year. This should fix that bug we saw earlier with some of those big group threads vanishing.
The last update messed up Trending. They thought the bug would be fixed by now but as you can see it is still broken. I blame Stosh. I get to quote myself:
Owenz OwnzAug 5 at 3:44:20 PM Permalink OK, so...after some digging it looks like the trending weights got a bit skewed as a sid-effect of the latest update. This should work itself out and get back to normal over the next week...
