The sidekick. The right-hand-man. The first mate. The first-runner-up. The vice president... the vice mayor. Every great man in history has had someone at their side through it all, giving them advice along the way and assisting in ways that nobody else could. For every Batman, there is a Robin at his side. For every Superman, there's a Krypto standing loyally, ready to assist. For every starter, a substitute wait to come on and take their place. For every Cher there is a Sunny, and for every Bush a Cheney. While everybody squibbles and squabbles and fights and debates over who should be the man to lead our City into a great and glorious future, we're ignoring the fact that he can't do it on his own. I, CrazzySnipe55, am announcing my candidacy for Vice Mayor of The City. The man behind the man who will help us conquer the overwhelming extraterrestrial force that has besmirched not only our City, not only our planet, but our Solar System in whole. "But," you might say. After I finished giggling at the fact that you said "but", you might continue,"what will [u]you[/u] do for us as Vice Mayor? What will be your project? Your agenda? Your mission?" I'll tell you, O, Curious Voter. My mission as your Vice Mayor will be to get to the bottom of our great Traveler. Or, rather, the middle! As you know, nobody's been able to reach the center of the Traveler due to its immense power. I think that, working in cooperation with The City's greatest scientists, we can solve this problem and get down to what makes our savior so spectacular, understand the powers it gives a select few of us a little more, and perhaps learn to harness them more effectively. So, what do you say, dear Voter? Are you with me? Are you going to stand there idly as these monsters take over our planet?
