I'm sure by now most of us are aware of the interview with Jason Jones that will be released on Bungie Day, but can someone help me out to understand the significance of this?
I mean, I'm excited for any interview that pops up regarding Bungie or Destiny, but what makes this one so special? Has he been hiding in a cave for the last few years or something? Thanks!

He's sorta the heart and soul of Bungie and is hyper media shy and hasn't been interviewed in 10 years.

Jason Jones is like Batman. He is just a man, so he is more of a symbol that inspires rather than the superman, but he comes out when people need him in order to hype the game, be it Mac World '99 or E3.

He's the mastermind behind Halo and he's not had a proper interview in over 10 years. I'm sure he'll have a lot of interesting things to say :)

He co-founded Bungie more than twenty years ago. He is the main man. The OG. The head honcho. The dude with a rude 'tude. The big boss. The- Anyways he's an important figure who rarely steps into the limelight, so we're likely to hear some new info, if not about Destiny, then about Bungie.

Edited by Charlemagne: 7/5/2013 4:00:03 AMThe closest thing to an interview we've gotten in a long time was in 2005.

When Jason Jones talks, you shut your mouth and listen. All you need to know.

If this is true, I'm looking very forward to this interview!

Edited by Commander Tempu: 7/4/2013 10:52:18 AMI would love to get Coffee for Jason Jones and learn what it takes to be an effective leader. He is that kind of guy who is well loved but gives credit as a ship's captain does as his crew is just as important letting them have the lime light. Uncharted waters out there and the landfall at E-3 gave that space magic feeling. Puts wind back in the sails of bungie as there great captain of industry leads them to greatness. I am surprised there is not a life sized statue of him yet. Humm i wonder if they will have one of him in Destiny. He is the man on the mountain who you must climb a thousand steps and politely ask when entering his modern day cave. Make sure to bring him good jokes or brain food.
