How do you sprint in PC games?! The default for most of them is the left shift but it hurts my pinky finger quite a bit when I'm sprinting away from knights in Chivalry while screaming "help meh!". Is there a good button to use to sprint without causing RSI?

Most games have it on tap or holding right shift.

What I do is remap sprint on the right shift, and remap most other actions on the num pad. It makes things a lot easier for me.

One of the best things about PC titles is that almost all games can have pretty much every action remapped. Shift is the standard, and it works for the most part, but for some people it's too much of a stretch. Some people like to swap sprint and jump (Shift and Space, respectively) because space is easier to get to and usually you're sprinting way more than you're jumping. The 2 "golden buttons" are easily "Q" and "E", as they're the easiest to get to and are frequently used for your most important actions. Be sure to remap your keys before you ever getin into a game, it helps with muscle memory and you'll be playing any game like a pro in no time!

I use spacebar in all my fps's on pc for sprint.Trying to hold down the left shift just didn't work with pressing WASD keys at the same time.

Thumb mouse button? I don't know, Shift to sprint has never bothered me.
