PlayStation fanboys are so hypocritical
So let me start off by saying not all of you are bad but the vast majority that are posting on this forum are seriously SO hypocritical it's actually laughable. The ps3, ps4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One are not bad systems, all are great and have plus sides. The main differences are the games and that's all about opinion based on the types and exclusives that you enjoy. Some enjoy Halo and gears of war, others like Killzone and Uncharted. Yet the PS4 fanboys on this forum seem to think that their console is god-tier. Lets tear apart why that's false and why the most heard Ps4 fanboys are ridiculous.

Ok, so this is one of the biggest points I hear that PS4 fanboys are using to say the system is bad. First off, the Xbox contains a $100 kinect that basically brings the system up to that prices, it's not just a case of it being more expensive for no reason. You can complain all you want about how pointless and dumb kinect is yet I used the original with friends and I had fun, the new kinect is upgraded and the fact that everyone will have it gives developers confidence to use it in interesting ways. The PS4 Eyetoy however isn't being supported as much and will basically turn into the Xbox 360's kinect, hated and pointless with everyone hating on the games for it.
The hypocritical part though? The ps3 was $600 when it was launched while the Xbox 360 was $400 that's a $200 difference and yet you people bought it and didn't seem that phased. So why were you ok with it before when it was $200 different but with a $100 suddenly it's "OMG THAT'S SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE, GOD!" It's because you're a fanboy, if the ps4 was $500 you would be fine buying it... So be quiet people, I'm on to you...

There's no doubt that the PS4 specs are better, but it;s such a minor difference between the two consoles that it literally will not make a difference it literally will make NO difference. Seriously, google it.

Just because microsoft got rid of DRM, the no used games, and not being able to share games and all that does not mean it's copying Sony. They aren't copying anyone, neither the 360 nor the ps3 had any of those features and Xbox One was going to try something new, people didn't like it so they changed it, simple as. If we're really going to be stupid like this and say microsoft is copying sony? Microsoft announces kinect, soon after ps3 had move. Seems funny... RIIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTT??????

Well they seem to have a great list of exclusives and third party games so that makes no sense, all they're doing is adding extra features to the list of what they can do. Sure not everyone will use them but some will and it's great for them. How can you complain about more features? I thought Playstation could do EVERYTHING seems it can't stream games via twitch, can't use half the tv apps xbox one can, and can't use the snap feature xbox can, it also doesn't even have a built in video editor for its share feature while xbox one does...

Opinion but most say xbox controllers win, so we can't even complain about that.
So basically in all honesty these consoles are the same with some slight different features and games so buy the console based off of what games you like better and stop arguing over which is better over stupid little things that make a tiny difference. PS fanboys will get ps4, xbox fanboys will get xbox, why try change this? It's not going to happen, your complaining just makes your community look bad, so be quiet.
GOOD POINTS BROUGHT UP:
PS4 supports indie games better than microsoft which is true, I wish microsoft was doing as good in that area.
PS2 had eyetoy which is kinda like the original kinect I guess.

Your only purpose for writing this is to start up another flame war. What other purpose could this thread possibly hold? I'll give you a 3/10 for the effort. Try harder next time though.

Opinions, opinion, opinions people can get what they want and play what they want. People are always going to have different tastes, such as, I like playstation controllers over xbox. But also as to the price difference, 360 did ship with a lot of problems while PS3 had no detrimental problems but that's after they released while right now the new systems haven't been released so that's another argument. As for 4) its just about how Microsoft has been showing off their console, since for the reveal, what was shown was television, sports, yoga, and CoD. Just face it, people in general are gonna rage and always be in competition to say anything about them is better than the alternative. I'm buying a PS4 cause I like playstation, I like the games, I like the controller, I like the service, I don't care for kinect nor voice control, and the $100 reduction in price is just icing on the cake.

4 Replies3,4,5 are out of it. 1. Being the $100 dollars more, the economy isn't going up in America. (Not sure about other countries so that's probably why...and inflation). And for the Kinect yeah you probably enjoyed it but in what way? Dance games? There were barley any good games that used Kinect in a major way. Not in ways like weapon modding or commands. And the eye is like, from what I heard, $40-$60 dollars and the PS4 controller has a built in move "bar" already. And for 2. small percentages can be great achievements for stuff. Like when a company makes a computer hardware that is 0.65 stronger then their competitors they'll patent it. Also I'm a 360 but going with PS4...the XboxOne marketing was horrible...and their policies as well.

13 RepliesYou can also add that the Xbox One will have better online (dedicated servers, smart match, and bigger matches). I've not seen any news about Playstation's online servers and I would safely assume that they will have the same amount of players in the matches but they might not have dedicated servers (they might because now they are charging for online play but we don't know yet. TL;DR: Xbox One is better

Preorders for the Xbox One were terrible, so Microsoft reversed all its policies so they could take back the preorders from Sony. It largely worked. The fact that you're 'defending' Microsoft here by saying they aren't 'copying' is idiotic. Who CARES if they ''copied'' Sony? It doesn't MATTER. Exclusives mattered. I bought a 360 for Halo 3 and I bought PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4. Looking forward, neither console really has compelling exclusives (which is pretty ****ing disturbing, but I digress) so price point and hardware are important factors to consider. Basically, you've got two similar things, only one comes with a 100$ camera that watches you 24/7 and can't be unplugged without bricking the console, well, it is no wonder that Sony fans are saying they've got the better deal.

2 RepliesI disagree with your premise that xbox fanboys will buy the xbox one and vice versa. I have never owned a PS but I have ordered a PS4 for one main reason - KINECT. I think the idea of forcing me to have a camera/microphone in my living room is creepy and invasive. The fact that Bungie are putting additional content on the PS4 is merely a cherry on top.

4 RepliesI agree but you missed one thing and that's the specs PS4 may have slight better specs but the Xbox one has cloud computing which is only a benefit for people online but still most are. Unfortunately people are going to still complain trying to defend the PS4 it's a good system but so is the Xbox one

first you posted this in the wrong section. second Sony proved they are herebfor the gamer by going to developers and asking what they needed to make a great game in a system. they then asked forum peeps what they wanted in the next system. 3rd they didnt try to say take it or leave it. Im a Sony fan but both systems will be great itsball a matter of opinion. yes ps4 has better tech but again games make a system. please next time post this in the right section.

9 Replies1. I don't want to buy kinect, the 360 proved it was a useless gimmick with almost no support whatsoever. The only thing its useful for so far is voice control, but that's just a useless gimmick as well. I don't want to pay an extra $100 for useless crap that'll collect dust. And your whole point about the PS3 being expensive at launch has no relevance to the PS4 or Xbone at all. 2. Your paying for less. So buying the Xbone knowing its inferior you're effectively ripping yourself off. grats. 3. You actually think Microsoft changed their policy because people complained? Come on. Their pre-order sales were lacking, that's why they took away the DRM. Not because they give a shit about customer's opinions. 4. Why would I care about any of this? I buy a console for games, not for shovelware apps and other nonsensical crap. 5. Yeah, I like the 360 controller better. Good thing there's 3rd party controllers, that let you use which controller on whatever system. The Xbone is an objectively worse system, and people still support it, I don't understand any of it. Its exclusives are nothing to write home about either. Halo is irrelevant at this point, Gears is too. All the exclusives they showed at E3 besides Forza and Titanfall were nothing to write home about. And Titanfall is coming to PC anyway, so its not even an exclusive. Dead Rising was gutted, RYSE is QTE the game, Killer Instinct has a horrible business model and the rest there was hardly any footage on at all. I didn't even buy a PS3. Its just the PS4 is clearly better than the Xbone.

You thought play station could do EVERYTHING, well blame yourself for imagining too much Sony didn't promise EVERYTHING. 6 RepliesSigh. I read the first 2 parts and couldn't continue. Xbox One sucks. More expensive, less powerful, less attractive, more difficult to develop games for. It does not have any plus points for a gamer unless you are obsessed with Halo and desperately want to see what happens in the next one, which judging from the atrocity that was Halo 4 will probably suck some form of juicy expletive.
