I waited for 3 years
I got this when I purchased the Halo Reach legendary Edition and every time I see this I thought that this is about Halo 4 or some thing else and after 3 years i want an answer what the hell is the new threat? Why is this. Is this maybe a Easter egg to the traveler. If you guys didn't know destiny was being constructed when Halo Reach was in progress I got that info from the GDC conference. So on that other side it has a letter of this threat and I quote

dude it's kinda of obvious that's it's high charity look really close and you can see it. i know because i have limited edition.

Could be High Charity since Reach is set before the UNSC knows anything about it.

I'm pretty sure that's High Charity. It looks a lot like it too just from what little we can see.

1 ReplyIm fairly certain (if anybody read the books) its the initial fleet moving to take Reach. From what Ive read of other comments the UNSC didn't know what happened to Harvest but ONI had a hit that it wasn't human or didn't speak any known language. In the book it speaks of if ships fly in formation through slip-space detectors in real space sometimes read it as one large object.

4 RepliesEdited by Charlemagne: 6/21/2013 9:22:19 AMReach takes place at the beginning of the Covenant v. Human war. That picture was sent before the war started. It is depicting a Covenant (or possibly, but less likely, a Forerunner) vessel. It could be High Charity.

I have the other Special Edition, and that thing always puzzled me as well. But I think it's High Charity.
