While we already have a good variety of account types that we can link with (PSN, Xbox, Google, and Facebook), would it be possible to include Steam to that list (and if yes, will it)? Steam is a major service for the PC game market so I'm confident that many users would find it as a welcomed addition to the account types that they can link to their Bungie.net account, or as their base account. Steam also provides a similar service to PSN and LIVE in terms of a friends list and login capabilities through a browser (or at least it appears that way). It looks like Steam would be a relatively easy service to connect to given its similarities to some of the existing options. However, I will acknowledge the question of why pick Steam over Origin/Uplay. My answer is that Steam has the larger user base. I also acknowledge that unlike Google and Facebook, Steam is a game service, and it's one that is not currently supported by Bungie. If these are reasons for its exclusion, then so be it.
