Glimmer confirmed as currency?
Check out the link to the image labeled "Thunderlord stats and heavy weapon upgrade path." It seems to indicate that "Glimmer" might be a type of currency in Destiny, possibly the blue gold seem in that one piece of concept art from GDC...
