Why Xbox Has More Destiny Than Playstation:
Now, we're all gonna love Destiny. But are we going to be able to get enough Destiny to satisfy our needs? Only if you play it through Xbox.
Let me elaborate. Microsoft confirmed the ability to tab inputs on the Xbox One, and seamlessly switch from game, to game, to TV, to game, to refrigerator, to web browser, etc.
With the addition of an HDMI input, we can theoretically hook up our 360s to the Xbox One. Put Destiny in the 360 and put Destiny in the Xbox One. This allows us to switch back-and-forth through the amazing technology of the Xbox One, giving us the ability to Destiny while we Destiny.

Why would you want to do that? You try and make it sound like an advantage over the Playstation, but other than actually just being able to do it just for the hell of it makes no sense.
-
Yo Dawg I head you like Destiny
-
Looks like another hardcore fanboy wanting some attention trying to start a flame war.
-
Why not just wait and see if you can't do this amazing thing called....wait for it....."split screen"!

My point behind this thread is to show the possibilities of playing 360 games through the Xbox One. It is feasible to assume you can play, let's say, Halo 3 while having a Skype call pulled up and searching material on the web. All through the next-gen console. The inward ports and the option to have tabbed applications opens up a wide range of possibilities.

Is this a shadowed attempt to say the Xbox one is better than the ps4? Everyone Stfu! Just enjoy the games. Quit trying to prove your console is better.

I want more

Lol reading this gave me an idea. What if there was a place in Destiny with an ancient technological artifact that was a game console (t would be whatever you were playing 360, One, PS3/4) that you could play Destiny on and there were three characters (Hunter, Warlock, Titan)) and they were all maxed out and stuff. And you could go anywhere in the game, including the place with the game and you could go into it again and you would have different character options that were even better and you could keep on going deeper in getting better characters. Destinyception. It would be -blam!-ing awesome.

i might be dumb. but this sounds ridiculous. i get the 'yo dawg' joke aspect of this thread, but can you explain in more technical terms how this is possible? it's possible to run my 360 through the xb1 so anything running on the 360 is just another application running in parallel to everything else on the xb1?
-
I'm not sure how so many people can misinterpret such a hilarious and great thread as fanboyism, but just wanted to let you know I appreciate this immensely.
-
I just wanted to say I read all of this while looking at Destiny.
-
Wouldn't work. Both ends of the hdmi would be in an input out slot.

My brain hurts...

It all makes sense.

Edited by StarcideTV: 6/3/2013 12:47:34 AMThat's a great idea now I can be in two Xbox Live party's, watching Cinemax softcore porn late at night and using Skype to talk to my grandmother at the same time! - Note that I probably won't be in 2 XBL party's that's just ridiculous.

Edited by Obsric: 6/3/2013 10:53:52 AMWhy stop with the xBox360? Two hands, two feet - so xBox360, PS3 AND PS4 while on your xBoxOne. ...You'll never miss a moment.
