I watched The Place Beyond The Pines earlier today. It was one of the last screenings in england as far as I know and I am glad that I managed to catch it since it was absolutely brilliant.
I won't talk too much about the film because talking about any of the details would spoil the effect for anyone who hasn't watched it. I'll just say that it was a lot more intricate than I initially expected, the narrative would start going one way before hopping off on some tangent which would then develop into a new narrative. Also the soundtrack by Mike Patton was beautiful and fitted the mood of the film perfectly, link above.
What's the best film you've seen this year? Why did you like it? Also if you've seen this film what did you think of it?
-
Feeding Frenzy 7.
-
Like of movies that have been released this year? I haven't been in a movie theater since 2012.
-
Nothing I've seen in theaters thus far has really impressed me yet, but I'm eager to see the new Star Trek movie.
-
at the cinema? Evil Dead. hands down one of the best gore-fest movies i've ever seen.
-
I rarely watch any good movies. My cousin and I tend to pick movies that sound horrible or look ridiculous and watch them for amusement. I re-watched The Fountain recently, fantastic movie.
-
Either Oblivion or Django. I can't decide.

Django Unchained - such a good film. Soundtrack is quality too.
-
Warm Bodies.
-
Iron Man 3, probably.

Jurassic Park. Film of the year all years for me. But if you mean releases of the year? Man of Steel. What I've seen is already enough for me to love it.
