What power do Mods have now?

Seriously, I miss it when rules were enforced. You can say "just mute them" but now Literally every thread on the Flood is about religion or Politics, do you expect me to mute everyone? When people were banned for making these threads, not many people tried to make them, and instead made Good threads, funny threads and a few troll threads, which could be fun to read. Now everyone is so caught up in talking about Religion (even I get the temptation) that hardly any Good threads are made. My point is, I miss the old system.
You can say "just mute them" but now Literally every thread on the Flood is about religion or Politics, do you expect me to mute everyone?
Why not just change your viewing experience? Insanity is repeat the same thing over and over and expecting different results. The truth is, not everyone views bungie.net in the same way - as the old site did. Everyone's expierence is different based on their actions, likes, follows, mutes, hides, private groups and conversations and account management. Some people could view "The Flood" as clicking Off Topic. Some people view "The Flood" as #Flood. Some people view "The Flood" from All Topics. Some people view "The Flood" from their activity feed based on the users and things they're following. The point is, everyone is viewing things differently. You can't say "but now Literally every thread on the Flood is about religion or Politics", because there are people that get their thread content from other methods that are available to every common user now. It's not like the old site where if you're viewing "The Flood" you're viewing The Flood and that's it. No if's, and's or but's about it.
do you expect me to mute everyone?
Back to my original point. No I don't expect you to mute everyone, but you can as some people choose to. You can also seek the content you're looking for, rather than complaining about the conversations you don't like. You're choosing to keep repeating the same actions and expecting different results. Do something different. Change yourself. Use the tools you've been given.
that hardly any Good threads are made.
Consider using other options available to you to find threads you think are "good", or expect nothing to change.
