Should Religion, Politics and Controversial issue be moderated if not ban from this forum again
like they use to be? In all super seriousness Flood.
Please guys, this forum is becoming toxic now! lets sway opinion here and let Bungie staff hear us.

2 RepliesIt's only "toxic" because of a few idiots. A lot of the discussion is conducted in an orderly fashion, free of insults. The actions of few should not be misinterpreted as the actions of many, so I don't see a reason to ban religious/political topics, just shut down the bad eggs.

While I'm not sure I have an actual stance on this question at hand, I want to say this: it [i]shouldn't[/i] have to be banned. People need to self-moderate. Most of the religion and politics topics I've ventured into have been mostly jackassery. I think it'd be neat if we could have occasional religion and politics discussion, but it's ridiculous how low quality ones seem to make up 60% of the first two pages. (And even if they were high quality, that wouldn't change the fact there's too many.) People need to lay off of it and find other things to talk about.

Should they be moderated? Not really. Not unless if someone is outright trolling. However, I feel like they should be moved to their own tag and out of #offtopic. They're not what I'm looking for in #offtopic and I hide about 90% of them.

I've basically avoided offtopic like the plague, coming here only because I'm absolutely bored right now (I'm at a point where I'm almost tired enough to go to sleep but not quite, but I don't want to get engaged in anything because I might want to hit the hay in the middle of it).
