I find myself at a crux because I do not see an option for this but I think it would be a viable option. Yay? Nay?
-
A disliking option for individual posts would be very nice.
-
Btw, it looks like you can unlike a post on the phone app. At least, if you click the star again it goes away.
-
-
YES. I keep liking posts by accident. It's really awkward.
-
There is a dislike button.
-
Why would you need to unlike? Is it that big of a decision that you would change your mind minutes later?
-
There should be a "boo" button like in bubble hockey.
-
YES I went to report a post yesterday, but inadvertently hit that dang [like] button by accident and I can't get rid of it.

Edited by duck: 3/30/2013 11:00:04 PMWhat does the current dislike feature do? Are you talking about cancelling your own like? Everyone says that "unlike" and "dislike" aren't the same thing, but until you explain clearly what you want from both, it's all semantics.
-
Edited by Josh: 3/31/2013 4:18:42 PMI don't understand why this is a such a controversial topic? If you don't like a thread just don't go on it.
-
I liked your thread to see if I could unlike it. I cannot. Enjoy your like.
-
Whoa. I thought they got rid of polls.
-
*liked*
-
Absolutely, but I've just realised how this be a problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a like pushes a post to the top. If a post were then unliked, should the post go back to its original position, or should it remain there but without the liker being attributed to it?
-
Yes, we all make mistakes. I can say with a 64.3% probability that even I was a mistake.
-
You can dislike a thread, and as for disliking posts, that just doesn't make sense. All liking a post does is bump it up in the thread as if you replied to it, so what would unliking a post do? Bump it down to where it originally was? Nah, just as you can't take back a reply, you shouldn't be able to take back a like on a post.
-
I see a "Dislike" option for threads.
-
Yes. Already I've "liked" three posts that I meant to report. Just a simple way to take back a like.
-
I usually just switch to dislike, but I can see why an unlike option would be better.
-
I ... don't see the point. Wouldn't it just be easier to not "like" a post/comment in the first place? I understand if you're saying that you would like to remove threads from your "liked" threads, but I think it's pointless to unlike someone's comment.
-
I'd like to unlike things as well, but it's not that big of a deal considering all of the other issues that need attention. Just think longer before you like something. ;)
