What system do you plan on using to play Destiny?
I thought this would be a good poll to see the breakdown of what systems the community anticipates playing Destiny on and whether people are planning to buy a next gen console right away. I feel like I've seen a lot of [u][b]Destiny on PC please!!![/b][/u] threads, so what percentage of you would prefer PC, if it is an option? I almost included [i][b]I'm waiting for more info[/b][/i] option (which honestly is where I am at) but I think I would just rather see which direction people are leaning instead. Hope this provides some insight into our community! Enjoy!
[Edit: Anybody heard whether Destiny will allow players to connect across console generations? PS3 and PS3 being able to play together or 360 and Nextbox? Splitting us up into 4 or 5 different communities seems kind of fragmented to me.]

I wish I could vote 3 times...since I'll be playing on the Xbox if I don't have the money for a new Xbox, but if I do I'll play it on that, yet if they open up a PC option I'm throwing console options out the window. I love my gaming rig. :3

1 Reply360. I assume the vast majority of the community, for the first game, will be on the 360 considering the current fanbase already has the console and the economy won't allow as many people to buy new consoles. So if you want a bigger community... I'd stick with the 360.

2 RepliesI'll decide once more information is released. At the moment the poll results will be skewed one way or another due to the current generation of games. The 360 was the best social gaming console for this generation mainly due to one reason: it was released first. Since it was released first a lot of people whose friends decided to buy a 360 bought one as well so that they could play together. That is what built up the community. Now, since that community has been formed, people aren't even considering which system will be the better system once they are released and instead will simply choose the nextbox as they assume it will be better than the PS4. Wait until all of the details are released for both systems and then decide. I'll most likely end up buying both next-gen consoles so I'll get destiny on whichever most of my friends own/ most of the community is playing on.

If they put it out on PC, I'll get it. Otherwise, I probably won't buy it. My brother might get it for 360, or one of the next generation consoles if he gets one, so I'll probably end up playing it on whatever platform he uses when I eventually go back home.

No idea, maybe the next xbox, maybe that AND PC. Dunno until there's more details on the nextbox.

I really don't understand why devs choose to ignore the PC market, but I'd imagine it's a decision on the producer level. Even if it were to be released on PC, it'd likely be a console port and we all know how well that works out.

I am not at all surprised that the majority chose the xbox 720, as most bungie fans are xbox players as well.

I'm pretty new around here so forgive me for asking, but has the all mighty bungie said why there are no plans for pc (yet I personally hope) and if so could they link it for me? I would just like to know/understand the rational behind their choice.

3 RepliesI cannot fathom why they aren't saying anything about PC. I can't seem to find any official yes/no and so I guess all I can do is keep dreaming until we get a definitive answer. By god I hope it's yes (look at the poll, [i]THE POLL DOESN'T LIE[/i]).

I'll be sticking with my 360 for now in regards to Destiny. I don't intend to invest in one of the next-gen consoles until I've seen them for myself. (Although I do intend to get a Wii-U sometime. I want Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate so bad.)

10 RepliesIt's hard to judge everything by the charts BUT... I don't think I would launch with ps3/ps4 right away. Hold off on those and launch for PC. the PS launch would still happen but after the fact to save some money. (and make money.)
