Sunshine (film)
What does the Flood think of the movie Sunshine?
I watched it a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. It had a great soundtrack, a good plot, and I really liked the characters.
If I have one gripe with the movie it's the final act, it just feels so.. out of place.
[spoiler]It basically turns into a cheap slasher horror movie and just seems odd.[/spoiler]

have not watched it yet but i want to but never had the motivation to care about it for some reason.

I watched it after a recommendation and was blown away, the soundtrack alone was worth it!

The final scenes were a bit of a letdown, but not THE final scene, which was beautiful. And lets not forget [i]Event Horizon[/i], which had a similar plot unfold at the end and is still on everyone's top-25 list in this genre. Anybody who even remotely likes sci fi needs to have this movie on their list. And the score of the movie is SOOOOOO good. Oh so good. Parts of this movie's score have been used everywhere from commercials to TV shows to other movies (see: strobe light fight scene in [i]Kickass[/i]).

Agree entirely with what you said. Great suspense mounting throughout the film, ultimates in a damp squib.

I liked it, and like you thought the end was a bit...Out of place like you said.
