Holy crap I loved it so much! So well animated, voice acted, and written IMO The comedy was spot on, and all the characters are darn likable.
Random musings:
Trailer made the premise look dumb, I loved how creative the arcade world is!
I'd be lying if I got all the video game references, but it was cool to see so much represented
That one kart wrecking scene. I was seriously tearing up
I did not see the twist coming at all...
I demand a sequel, Disney did good. On another note, I also recently saw "Rise of the Guardians" and "Hotel Transylvania." Man, last year had a good amount of entertaining animated movies with nice, creative universes... I demand sequels for those too (funny, I didn't see Brave yet)
What say you?

It was really good!
I wish Sugar Rush could have taken up just a little less time though, it kind of felt like a totally different movie after halfway through. Like the first 45 minutes were just used to get the vast majority of the video game references out of the way so the second half could be something else entirely.
Edited by Masque of Night: 3/25/2013 11:24:04 PMHaven't seen it yet, but i'm hooked on this song. Too damn catchy. However, to tag on the end of your post, I did see "Hotel Transylvania" with my girlfriend a while ago. That was a good movie. :)

I don't see why people care about some childish movie.
-
I just watched it today...gotta say...great movie...loved it!

Edited by Wyzilla: 3/25/2013 9:40:36 PMThe only animated movies I watch are Pixar, because most of the time they have better performances by the voice actors and animators than oscarbait. But Wreck if Ralph just seems like a mediocre run-of-the-mill-animated movie and just gets an 'Eh' from me. I haven't seen, but I've seen enough to know it's just average.

The redneck version is better. Dang-It Bobby
-
Skip Brave, it was just turrible.
-
If you don't like this movie, you can get bent.
-
I was suprised that it had an actual story and wasn't just a bunch of half assed videogame references.
-
I saw it with a group of friends. I was disappointed. It seemed geared way too much to little kids in my opinion. Like I think it's a good movie, but I find that it's hard for people to like it as much if you aren't younger. (I'm 16)

Edited by tntbabin: 3/24/2013 6:36:02 PMSaw Wreck-It Ralph a couple weeks ago, and loved it! The characters were ALL likeable in some way or another, all the video game references were awesome, the movie was hilarious(for some reason I found the brutal kind of Mario-Kart style attacks for the racers hilarious), and the story was pretty good too. I'd definitely watch it again. As for Hotel Transylvania, I saw that one in the theater on Halloween with my family, simply cause there was nothing going on but none of use wanted to do nothing on Halloween. The movie was alright. It had some great parts but a few parts that were pretty terrible too. I'd watch it again, but it was nothing too special. Saw Rise of the Guardians last weekend, the movie was pretty good, funny enough, likeable characters, decent story. My one complaint is that most of seriousness in the movie seems to leave the movie around the end, and I hate it in a movie, when a matter suddenly goes from extremely serious to extremely light-hearted. Not gonna give any spoilers, but anyone else that saw the movie may know what I'm talking about. Haven't seen Brave. Seen bits and pieces of it due to walking in on my little sister watching it a couple times and while I can't really judge it from what little I've seen it didn't really seem all that great.

I saw it two days ago and i loved it!

I love animated films, but I feel embarrassed wanting to see them because my parents think they are childish, so sadly, there are many movies I never end up seeing for that reason. I hope Wreck it Ralph comes on TV someday so I can see it eventually :/

Edited by o0MrCheesy0o: 3/24/2013 6:45:30 AMI haven't seen it. The impression I got from the ads was that it was too childish for my likings - I like animated films though. The trailers didn't do the film justice then?
-
The movie almost topped my list over Up, but that movie made me tear up something fierce.
-
saw it the other day. I liked it. Pretty good movie
-
lolanimatedmovies I hope none of you guys are grown men.....
-
I was hoping for more game-world traveling, didn't expect it to be centred around the racer.
-
3 Words: Bowser was AWESOME!!!!
-
I never saw it, but I plan on seeing Django unchained first.
-
I liked the movie I was just a bit disappointed by the lack of video game references.

WreckitRalph is like Shrek. Awesome movie. If you ask for a sequel to Wreckitralph, it will be like Shrek 2. Which wasn't horrible- but was just..ew. But still decent. Then- as soon as anyone makes a sequel like that the sequels will not stop coming. You will ruin wreckitralph if you ask for a sequel
