A thought came to me as I watched Bungie's presentation at the PS4 convention earlier today. How will respawning work in Destiny? You play a unique character in a persistent world. What happens when you die? It's not like when Master Chief dies in Halo and you go back to the last checkpoint. Destiny is a cooperative "shared world shooter." The world does not revolve around you. Do you respawn a certain distance away from the action? Do you lose "points" or loot or something like that every time you die? What do you guys think about this?
