I always liked this short film, but it just occurred to me that this is what the cityscapes of Destiny could be like! I mean, it even has the whole guardian thing goin' on, a lone dude, cool vehicle, meeting leftover constructs. and of course kick-ass animation!
Thoughts?

OH! I remember this. I found this via StumbleUpon a year or two back. Its really impressive!
-
This reminds me of the Ghost Town map from Halo 3. OT: I could see this being one of the worlds, yes.
-
very cool video, thanks for sharing
-
Can I get the exact link you got the video from please?
-
Awesome video man, can't believe I hadn't seen it before now!

Thank you for showing me this video.

This video. Oh my god.
-
Video was great, and the landscape would fit parts of the Destiny atmosphere.

Edited by Player3Th0mas: 2/27/2013 8:40:31 AMThis looks like crysis 3... The city, that is.
-
This is Bungie we're talking about. This game is going to be amazing.
-
im pretty sure it will look somewhat similar to this but probably a bit more colorful and alot of over vegetation 700 years can change alot of things. The cities will be ancient basically ruins. As for the last city , it will be heavily futuristic probably have different social classes through out though.
-
Very cool. I'm still not quite sure what Destiny will look like, though, where do the possibilities end?
-
Very cool video man. Since the rest of the world is uninhabited I do not see why the scenery could not look like that.
-
I just love the post-apocolyptic world for a video game. I am so excited for Destiny.

Edited by Goldeneye: 2/27/2013 1:09:43 AMyea ur right like in crysis 3, i am legend, walking dead, revolution. Earth when it isnt looked after will be ugly, vegetation would grow into cities, animals will roam in cities, cities wont even look like cities. and since Destiny is 700 years into the future, where the only good city is the one under the traveler, Earth might be like this in destiny. Very good vid

The area does look pretty sweet, should be interesting to see what Bungie does with the cities.
-
That dudes hair is GREASY!
-
Meh, I'm sure Bungie could do better.
-
Sure, the other cities and constructs will be post-apocalyptic in a sense, but some of the alien races inhabiting those constructs may be more organized than to keep then completely in ruins, as seen in the video.
-
That was great. Here's hoping the "swampland" of old Chicago will bear a resemblance to this.
-
I imagine that we'll be seeing a lot of Ghost Town esque maps in Destiny.
-
Edited by doctor woot: 2/26/2013 9:14:18 PMscrew all that, gimme a matte black ducati monster and we're good.
-
I'd rather have a mix of barren destroyed cities and overgrown vegetation cities.
-
Where is this video from?

Landscape's too bland. Wouldn't be fun to explore (:- (
