Bungie's Official Theme Song

A few days ago in the Marty Army, someone asked if bungie had an official theme song -- something to blare over the global PA system once they inevitably take over the word. Marty Replied with:
There actually is an "Official" Bungie song. First one to post the mp3 wins.
Well, I won. It was hidden rather well, but after a bit of google searching and some real-life searching for my old game disks, I have found it. It's from Myth II. For anyone interested in finding this for themselves, here's how. If you open up Fear and select "sounds -> island" there will be a permutation named "bs" ("Bungie Song). (For those not familiar with Fear in Myth, Fear is a development tool provided with the game that allows you to view and make changes to almost any of the game files.) In game, the song can be heard playing from a small house down by the river on the fourth to last level. Anyway, without further ado, I give to you the official Bungie theme song. p.s. It works very well as a ringtone. =) Edit: Link now goes to a youtube video (I don't know why I didnt think of that earlier...) The download link is in the video's description. [Edited on 03.10.2009 10:12 AM PDT]

 • Holy ~blam...that was exactly what i was expecting....wtf was that?! Whatever it was, it's sure to instill fear in the hearts of Bungie enemies. When they hear this song blarring through the streets during the take over, they will know that the giant slighshot is not far behind. I think Sheddin' from Marathon (and 343gs or halo ce) would be better. I could imagine that playing suring a world take over. I'm afraid to say it, I think Valve has a better theme song. Atleast more fitting. Then again, that was undeniably...Bungie-ish. [Edited on 03.11.2009 3:28 AM PDT]
