Revive Crimson Steam Pirates!!!

I sent a message to Harebrained Schemes on the whereabouts of a Crimson sequel since its been taking so long and from a producer basically what he said was although theyd like to continue with it, Bungie owns and financed it so until they give which theey havnt and probably wont there wont be a sequel. So point Im making is does anyone have any ideas how to get Bungie to budge?

Bungie may own Crimson but HBS should have other games in the works.
And indeed HBS do, have release mny before and a number since ... but none through bungie. What does that say about the relationship?
Posted by: Eire Raven I know you're being sarcastic, but your point still seems to be that HBS is an innocent maiden & Bungie is some nefarious villain in all this... Unless HBS has revealed more to you than is on these forums then it seems to me your making this more black & white than it likely is.
Only that it is not a great way to start a relationship. If you read bungies self promoting press release, crimson was started to help startup indie developers. Yet, in 2 years they have helped how many? And when you set out to support a group, do you just pull support (yet, continue to promote yourself via your web site)? Its a bit shallow to pretend to be helping the poor indie developers, yet in reality doing nothing.

 •
Posted by: Eire Raven Why is it so few Bungie fans ever give Bungie the benefit of the doubt in these kinds of things? I really enjoyed Crimson too & would like to see more chapters but I've also never known Bungie to ever do anything out of apathy, cruelty, or greed. If they aren't moving forward on aerospace they likely have a good reason.
'good reason' ... so Harebrained Schemes should just shut the FU. Just because they put their studio on the line to back bungies new launch ... they should have known bungie would want to stop things ... for well ... some reason. HBS can just stop paying their staff, sub-let their office space, cancel the lease on the equipment ... after all it is bungie we are talking about. Who the F do these startups think they are - jeez. No wonder bungie abandoned these whining deadbeats.

If they aren't moving forward on aerospace they likely have a good reason. Give Bungie credit! They've always been consistent in (a) making great games & (b) wanting to be free of control. Why don't we just be patient?..

 • Nah, bungie have abandoned everything to do with Crimson; - the Crimson trademark; abandoned (well, ruled invalid), - Aerospace, also abandoned, - Anyone seen any free press - nope, gone. Honestly, this was bungie flagship exercise to celebrate their freedom from Microsoft ... lol, how to celebrate a failure.

 • They're busy with their own new game. Once Destiny comes out, Crimson might come back if it's popular enough.
