I'm about to rage quit Halo 4 for good.
Not because it sucks, but because it lags way too much. It's much worse than Reach because Halo 4 lags nearly every match, the kind of lag where I walk past the same stop 3 times before it fixes. Reach had more "black screens" but at least that made it even for everyone. Halo 4 lag just messes up the actual gameplay.

Yeah I have the same problem whenever I play. Just part of the reason I stopped playing.

I haven't gotten any lag at all with Halo 4, I must be in the lucky part of the world or something.

1 ReplyFor some reason, their servers won't let me play with friends. I waited for months for this title. Now I can't play it in the fashion I want to. So guess what? I now own Black Ops 2 Unfortunate, but those are the breaks.

I haven't come across much lag in the time I've played it or atleast not often enough to make me rage

I've barely lagged at all whilst playing H4 though I haven't played it in around a month or so.

I get some lag, and yes SO is where it can become unbearable, but overall the lag is no better or worse than Reach.

I don't get lag a lot but when I do it's very frustrating trying to simply walk forward a few steps or trying to shoot a Spartan that warps everywhere. The problem with lag started for me with Reach after 343 took over and continued with 4. Really ruins the match when it happens.

Sometimes I lag like 5 matches in a row then I don't lag for 10, it's pretty frustrating.

Edited by C80: 1/14/2013 5:31:04 PMI usually only get lag in Spartan Ops. But then again I almost always yoink host when I join online matches. Though, hope your lag clears up. It's always a bummer to buy a new game and not be able to play it.

You forgot to mention that it takes a lot of time to find games which it should not.
