Getting ready to pre-order..

But I have a question.I like the art on the standard edition box..but want the extras of the limited edtion. So I was curious about the metal case..is it just a cover that holds the standard box along with the bonus disc? Or is it simply just the metal case? Thanks.

 • I feel bad for you, you're going to have to wait a while before you get a copy probably. Maybe walmart or another chain store will have enough copies, who knows.

 • I'm going to buy 3. One regular edition to play. One Special Edition for collection purposes. One more regular edition to wear around my neck.

 • i like how the webmaster answered this questions:
In the limited edition of halo 2 will the green xbox halo 2 case be inside the metal box or is it just the disc? David C Delaney Here's the deal, Delaney, Yes, the metal box is so advanced that it can apply relativistic effects to both time and space. Inside the metal box is infinite capacity, the game disc and a rippling singularity around which all matter ceases to exist, folding in upon itself and shoveling energy into another dimension. So not only does it contain another box, it also contains a 2/5 replica of the entire universe. A universe in which you could take Mike Tyson – wrap him up in a cocoon of horrors – the whole nine…sorry 3.8 yards. Oh no wait, I misspoke, it's a regular sized box. Inside which is a game disc, a DVD and some attractively free stuff. But no second, magical green box. Unless you'd like us to melt it, and pour it into the metal box as a sticky goop?
Thanks.
The metal special edition box is just that- a metal case. It doesn't have the regular box art underneath it. Not that it really matters, both of the boxes are cool in their own right, and if you really want the special extras, I suggest that you go with the metal one. You shouldn't decide to not get the special edition simply because you don’t like the case. Heck, if you want the regular case that bad, just buy copy of it as well. It would be handy for LAN parties.
