Full story
Basically, those of you on Twitter may have noticed #CutForBieber trending, allegedly because his fans were, yes, cutting themselves to stop him doing drugs.
Except that it was started by 4chan as a prank, and was actually bought by Beliebers, who went on to do it.
What do you think of this?

If you want to claim the delusional "moral high ground", then just spit it out and don't disguise it as something else.

Not surprising that some of the flood thinks it's funny. They probably frequent /b/ just as often as bnet. [Edited on 01.08.2013 9:33 AM PST]

Hmmmm... difficult. He shouldn't have reacted the way he should of but at the end of the day, slicing your arm up for giggles about some guy you've never met before, about the subject of 'smoking pot' is in no way empathy for what hes done considering what hes done is not even serious People who cut themselves over a person they dont know and a drug they dont know are a danger to themselves and others. But on another note I love the pictures that are being uploaded

Truly these Beliebers are on the same tier as Gandhi and his hunger strikes for Indian independence from British imperialism.

Beliebers... Oh my. I don't think there is anything nice to say about them..

Oh /v/ you never fail to impress me.

When first reading this I was thinking that many people who followed this had little sense but after reading it through I find that I am wrong; I think that for many mentally unstable people are seeing this as an excuse to inflict self harm, I suggest that the moderators of the various sites the pictures are being posted to must forward their information to the proper organisations capable of helping these individuals.

Can we just forget that Justin Bieber exists now? His fans are absolute idiots. They have awful taste in music and are causing themselves bodily harm to stop their idol (lol?) from doing drugs. In what world is that a relevant and rational response? [Edited on 01.08.2013 8:13 AM PST]
