Well, the original reason I signed up was to get recon armor on Halo 3 (via completing all Vidmaster challenges on Halo 3 and ODST) back in 2009. But, I ended up creating a new account around the time the Halo: Reach beta was available to the public because I couldn't link my profile to my XBL account on my original one, I don't know what took me so long to create a new account.
I have been visiting the site before I made an account, mainly for the weekly updates.
Why did you sign up for Bungie.net?
-
I signed up after a few weeks of visiting to look at my Halo 3 stats. I wanted the Septagon by my gamertag in Halo 3 too.
-
Halo 3 stats - To see how I stacked up against the rest of the world, only to find out that I am forever mediocre at the areas I wished to excel at. Excellent in places that no one seemed to care about.
-
To see how badly I was doing at Halo 2. It was worth it.

Just the Halo 3 Stats. I didn't start posting until late 2009.
-
Used to come here a lot to look at concept art and wallpapers of Halo 1. Then signed up when the hype for Halo 2 reached fever pitch so I could discuss it with other equally excited peeps.

It was about 6 months after the release of Halo 2. I think I came to the forums because I had a question about the game, or something to do with it, and I was curious. I happened to stumble upon the forums and joined - actually not knowing what a 'forum' was. Started posting in The Flood. And here I have 7 - almost 8 years later.
-
The nameplate. Then I got hooked on the Bungie weekly updates. The the podcast. Then the community forum. Now that Deej is here, I think I'll be on here until I die.
-
I wanted the septagon next to my name in the Halo 3 lobby like the rest of my clan did.
-
Halo 3 stats; I wanted to see how badly I was doing when compared to my friends.
-
I signed up with my original Bnet account back in the days between Halo 1 and 2 waiting for news... and to discuss the hype of Halo 2 with other community members.
-
I made this account to find information on the Halo: Reach beta. I had lost the information on my original account I used to view Stats from 06'-10'.
-
Stats and news about halo.
-
Blue Flames is what got me hooked and stats are why I made an account.

Stats.

Originally? Let's see...I signed up in 2006, so I guess for Halo 2? I can't remember if Halo 3 was announced then or not. Regardless, I liked the place enough that I made this account when I lost access to my original.
