Where Did All The New Guys Come From?
Bear with me here. When the new hotness struck, we were overcome with thousands of new guys, One question has always bothered me, where did they come from? Was there advertising somewhere? Did I miss some big parade on TV? Did a hole open up in the fabric of space-time? Where did they come from? They weren't here before the hotness, why after?

Well, in theory, i am a new guy to the forums. but i just joined because they made marathon. Besides, i didn't join to discuss halo 2, or just after halo was released. sigh...

Fine, i've been here since May (as you can tell), and before that i've gone to bungie.net occasionally to read the updates and others' posts. All these new guys keep asking the same thing.

I actually came on the last day of school when I came home and just started reading the Halo manual for some reason.I saw the website on the manual,decided to check it out and the rest is history(well not really actually).

Mmmmm.... wrath..... I was working at a state park in the middle of nowhere for a year. I came back this spring and, (what's this?), my profile is gone!? WHERE IS BANSHEES WRATH WHEN I NEED IT! Thats how I got to be a "noob" once more. (But I'm pretty sure thats not why all the other people showed up. Pretty sure)

I'm actually a bit happy that it was done, it makes my name unique. No one else in the world has a name like mine. This way, I can use my name in every online game that I have without having to worry about someone stealing it.

You've got to remember.... there's been 5 million copies of the game (Halo) sold... i think you've got off quite well with only "a thousand" new members as someone said earlier ;) Just wait until the mass TV Halo 2 advertising campaign starts :)

Are we sure that a comet isn't overhead? Maybe the huge influx of people asking about bees and looking for information on a Halo movie is due to the beginning of a dark period. Who knows, maybe The Deciever will march over the next hill with his army of zombies chanting "im da best sniper in da wurld!" and "OMG WTF HALO RULZ ALL way better then marathon!!!" I am new, (although I have been playing Bungie games for a while now) but even I tire of walking into The Underground, and upon reading the posts, becoming confused as to whether I am in New Mombassa or The Flood.
