Does anyone think Halo can be made better.
Think about it. Maybe Halo has just run its course. Halo 1-3 established an amazing trilogy for the record books, adding changes and dramatic overhauls in it's game engine, yet making the game familiar and enjoyable. Halo 3:ODST gave a worthwhile spin-off, elaborating more on the other spectrum of the Halo universe. And ending with Halo:Reach, giving the trilogy closure, and giving the fans a new hero, while offering another multi-player experience that I found enjoyable.
Rehashing an retired franchise because of money, and not passion meant changes like killstreaks, and create-a-class were going to happen. It was inevitable.
In my mind, the Chief is chilling in his cyro tube with his soulmate. But 343i can keep making their version if they choose.

It can be made better easily. Stop playing halo 4 matchmaking like many other people so it has a low population(right now it has 21,997 in matchmaking,I checked from waypoint website playlists) and 343i will soon realise not to cater towards the casuals and gain cod fans for more money.(which they failed in doing) and go back to the halo you love...the classic halo style game play and quality.(they have already began to realise this because you can tell, they hured bravomlg and they dropped the price tag of halo 4) HAHAHAHAHA!

Halo as we loved it won't be coming back. Almost every great game series falls at some point (There are exceptions, like GTA or Metal Gear Solid), not necessarily population wise, but the gameplay gets changed. Some people prefer the new change, most of the original fans won't like it. There are a lot of examples, Look at Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Call Of Duty, Tony Hawk and most recently Halo..list is long. [Edited on 12.14.2012 6:11 AM PST]

It's a lot more enjoyable now that I can spawn with a Covie Carbine or the Suppressor instead of being forced into using the BR or the AR every time.

I think it's a video game series. More games, means more fun time. If you dont like the new games, dont buy them. Everybody wins, nobody looses.

Nothing is perfect, yes halo 4 could have been made better. That is not to say that it's bad though.

I'll just say this. Reach was nail, Halo 4 was the hammer.

If Halo 5 = Halo 3, all will be well. 343i made a terrible mistake in trying to come up with original content for a long-running series by disregarding all the old content.

Nerf DMR and make it so you only spawn with 1 Plasma grenade then sure.

If they added Precursors and more Forerunners and a more RPG element then definitely.

It ended when master chief said "I think we're just getting started." Everything past this point was a downward spiral. Obviously this is just my opinion.

I think they should have made it to where we didn't have to press all those buttons. Just too many.

As I said before, the Sangheili in Halo 4 are not as attractive, I remember their smoother skin...and their soft mandibles.
