RIP doubles.
Played 15 games today, not one was on a host from North America. It's a great shame that such a great game has been taken over by poor people.

I was just pointing out that to people from another country you are the foreigner with bad host - the USA definitely doesn't have the best internet in the world. It wasn't a personal dig, and I am well aware of the inaccuracies in the data I linked (also the irrelevance - ping and upload speed are very important for a good host too). It just gets a little boring when people complain about having to play on yellow bar for a night, just be glad people are still playing. If it really bothers you get a team of friends from Uni/College/work on so you are more likely to play on a good connection. Sorry for the rant.

This is the reason why i stopped playing ranked besides TS a month ago. Same -blam!- happened in MLG too. All foreigners which ruin the game completely when i cannot shoot someone who struggles to move around the map yet they can kill me because of the lag

lol wut you're telling me the average download speed in America is 15 mbps. I have from around 45 download 35 upload. I've seen this in both cod and halo where I can play great with one of my friends, but it decides to give some trash random host in zombies or spartan ops. Then we lag like hell. Why give such a trash connection host if it's only good for one player? And I'm sorry, but I've seen kids pull host from Europe and everyone (even the host themselves) was yellowbar. The few Social playlists I play are filled with Eastern Euro hosts, with some Mexican sprinkled on top. I think it's the whole game at this point.

Yeah, I only linked the download charts because the upload charts for speedtest.net seem very inaccurate. I just find it weird how eastern Europe has some of the best bandwidth, but I rarely see anyone from there on - guess LoL must be more popular over there, or just PC games in general.

Secondly, download is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to host. Upload is far more important. Thirdly, mexican host was the best host I played on that entire day. I played probably 15 games, and out of those 15, 3 were against teams from Panama (lolwat) who were so absolutely terrible that they could barely aim, and had no teamshot whatsoever. That didn't seem to matter, though, since we were 3-bar the entire game, and they could kill us without even shooting. After that, we played columbians for like 5 games. If you own an xbox in colombia, you're probably a drug dealer, just sayin' Then I played some Brit's (who no doubt pulled a terrible host) and then when narrowly losing to me on yellowbar, tried to tell me it was my host because i had the most kills. Followed by Saudi Arabians. Followed by my turning off my xbox. [Edited on 11.23.2012 9:51 AM PST]
