Compared to previous Call of Duties, Black Ops 2 seems much slower paced. It may just be me, but I'm noticing longer games, less kills, and lots of sprinting around the map trying to find people to shoot at. Maybe its just because they made the maps a tad bit big. Who knows. Anyone else feel the same way?

Yeah. Guess we'll just have to deal with it until some patches come out.
Posted by: Deranged Cook1e Shotguns are another thing. There's tons of players using them now. More irritation haha
Irritation is an understatement. I know the shotgun is supposed to be good at close range but you can't beat a shotgun at all at close range.
Posted by: Deranged Cook1e The maps are just too big now :/ I can't find anyone, and when I do I kill them and immedietely get killed by one of their teammates. I find myself playing zombies more because like you said the countless ways to get the drop on an enemy is frustrating. Nuketown 2025 should be a permanent playlist.
They came out with another playlist today(can't remember what it's called) that's nothing but small maps. The amount of shotguns is annoying though, I've started to use mine just out of frustration. Fight fire with fire.
Posted by: Metalignus Only thing that "Slows" it down is that maps don't have certain "Battle points", that's because there is around 5-8 different ways to get behind your enemy team, combine that with spawns that put you either infront of enemy, or behind the person who just killed you, there goes your slow pace. Majority of maps are small and horrible, people are comparing Hijacked to Wetwork from Call Of Duty 4, even though only similarity with them is that you're on a boat, though wetwork was a ship, and hijacked is small SMG fest map size of a lifeboat. Killtimes are ridiculously fast, slightly slower than Modern Warfare 3 (Mainly thanks to lag compensation) and you have no time to react if you get shot from behind, combined with maps that provide a lot of ways to get behind whole enemy team, the gameplay is just awful. Yes, the gameplay is slower paced compared to MW3, but that's about it.
You spilt your milk.

I've noticed this as well. I've often found myself having to hunt for players to kill. The spawns also seem worse than usual, I've spawned directly in front of an enemy just to get gunned down again, I've also spawned behind them. They just can't seem to get the spawns correct ever.
