I just completed all 5 chapters
Must say, it was much better than the previous episodes...
Only complaint was lack of unique environments, but the gameplay made up for it
So did you finish Episode 3?
-
It looked super good. The cutscene was very interesting as well.
-
The episode itself was fantastic, was not expecting the ending. The missions felt great except for Shootout in Valhalla where Mountain squad disappeared. Still, easily my favorite episode so far.

Scumbag Dalton Sends Pelicans to Crimson Drops off Mantises instead of picking Crimson up [Edited on 11.19.2012 10:03 PM PST]
Posted by: HundredJono The 4th mission was intense!
Agreed. The whole time I was plasma pistoling my team mates mantises.
-
Very good. Although you can tell they're pushing it to the very limit with the frame rate choppiness that goes on a tiny bit when you first get the Mantis and they drop a large number of footsoldiers and hunters along with the initial banshee wave. Still a blast though.
-
It was better this time.
-
Alot better way more fun even if they did reuse MP maps.
-
All feelings of challenge or intensity was lost due to it being impossible to lose. It was better than the last two episodes though.
-
They're not making new maps anymore, they're just using the multiplayer maps...
-
I thought it was pretty lame. SPOILERS The Valhalla sequence was cool at first, but I thought it was stupid when you secured the site so they could drop of the Mantis, so you could keep killing things, so they could pick you up. If they would have just picked me up then I could have saved 20 minutes.
-
I have never seen so many hunters in one place before.
-
The Valhalla ones were the best chapters so far. I had so much fun, and I've only played them both once.
Posted by: TransmutationXx
Posted by: UberLevi 6 Hunters at once. Goddamn.
I beat them all on legendary and fighting so many hunters and elites and everything at once was such a pain. Which is a good thing since the last two episodes were lacking a challenge.
Do. You want. A cookie?
-
It was fun overall but GOOD GOD THE HUNTER SPAM. DX

Im falling behind I haven't even tries any of them from episode 2..
-
6 Hunters at once. Goddamn.
-
Gameplay is a lot better even though they're mostly reskins of MP maps. It did bring back some Invasion nostalgia though.
-
I liked it. The vehicle parts in particular were great. Until my Mantis blew up and there were three waves of banshees left.
-
Posted by: Isai16 Haven't played it but I love Halsey's attitude. Spartan IV's are garbage.
Exactly right.

I enjoyed fighting the covenant on ragnarok alot. kinda makes me wish I had the ability to add AI to forge maps... [Edited on 11.19.2012 8:30 PM PST]

Will have to play.
-
I was expecting more of a story from Spartan Ops so I'm too disappointed to care.
-
i agree
-
Was much better than the first two, and Jul m'dala (spelling?) was so cool

The 4th mission was intense!
