Because I sure haven't. The vegan girls always have no butts either.
-
I haven't, but I'll bet it's more than possible that they're out there. There is a vegan chick I know who's actually got a little meat on her bones and has an ass.
-
I haven't seen any "buff" vegetarians, but one could be come muscular if they worked out and drank protein shakes.

The most effective way to get protein with as little fat as possible is not from meat anyway....
-
I wouldn't call her buff, but I have a vegan friend who runs half marathons and stuff.

Yes, actually. I watched a documentary on vegan diets and plant protein, they had a group of firefighters who were vegan and were super buff.
Posted by: Razgriz Berkut I can get protein without eating meat.
I bet you can... How many wangs do you have to suck each day to get the necessary daily protein requirements? [Edited on 11.20.2012 5:07 AM PST]

Yes actually, I have. I go to a 60 000 person University, and there are many vegetarians at the information stands they get to represent the vegetarian group there. You have to remember these guys are eating 4-6 eggs a day, almonds and tofu like it's their job. Vegetarianism actually works well. It's veganism I've never seen have a positive effect on people.

The only ones I've seen look sickly as hell. Could could probably cough on them and they'd get some kind of disease.
Posted by: Burned Remains
Posted by: Toxifies You can't really get buff without eating protein. The vegan bodybuilders are a lot smaller and put much more work into building muscle than traditional body builders.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. You can get more protein from veggies and nuts that you ever can from meats.
So you have a source? Because the frail looking vegetarians seem to contradict that statement.

People seem to misunderstand why you 'need' to eat meat. It is to do with Amino Acids which are used to build Specialised Proteins inside the body. 'Because your body can only produce 13 amino acids on its own, you need to get the other nine from your diet. These nine are considered essential because you need them to maintain a healthy body. They are histidine, lysine, threonine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, valine, phenylalanine and tryptophan. Although you can get amino acids from both plant- and animal-based foods, only animal protein contains all nine essential amino acids.' So, no one needs to eat meat as you can get all of the necessary nutrients from other sources. It is really a choice, some people choose to eat meat others choose not to. I find it irritating if either side of this gets preachy, The Bacon Mafia or the Vegan Brigade.
Posted by: The Benergizer
Posted by: DeltaHalo_UK I know a vegetarian who, although I wouldn't say buff, is rocking a pretty mean sixpack. He eats a lot of cheese
Funny, because dairy is the most fattening substance in the world and someone with great abdominal definition probably wouldn't get it by consuming lots of dairy.
He also runs for an hour a day. Don't know how - I get bored after 20 minutes. He used to be a fatty.

I consider myself to be a paleo-diet expert. It really is better. Also, GMO's are really bad. Do not eat them.
