Damn, it was an awful day when I learned what "begging the question" meant. Now it annoys me whenever people say something "begs the question" instead of "raises the question."

Two sides of an argument which have opposing viewpoints but cannot be definitively decided, and therefore inferring the middle ground must be correct. This is not the case.
