So flood, I finally got myself a smart phone, and I was wondering what apps the flood would recommend that are useful and fun.
I have to say, I love having pandora on my phone, especially since I don't have a stereo in my car at the moment, and I found a pretty cool app that tracks my spending and gives me suggestions on how to save to money. Anything else I should check out? Preferably free apps, but if it's worth it I'm willing to open up my wallet.

Android wins, everytime. Widgets and customization are what matter to me. [Edited on 10.04.2012 6:24 PM PDT]

You basically make your phone exactly how you want it.
Hmm, that sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. OP, you should examine Rhapsody. That service blows all others out of the water. I pay less than ten cents per song, since I put 1-2 albums a month on my phone. Since my sister and brother share the same subscription, that amount of money my family spends on digital music is less than a nickel a song. Also, get AVG antivirus. All my previous phones have just been, well, phones. lol I think an antivirus app will be my next download.
Antivirus isn't necessary on a smart phone unless you're a complete moron.

More customization is more better. MX player. A good task manager. Any emulator if you want to play games. Also, get AVG antivirus. Watch -blam!- safely. ALSO, if you have anyone who is REALLY good with tech, have them help you root your phone and put CyanogenMod on it, assuming your device is compatible. Beware, that may void your warranty.
