Discuss Halo 3: ODST

The game was good, I just wish there was a sequel. I wanted more development in Vergil and Rookie's character. Both of them work together in the game, we never got to see more of it.
-
Would have been good value as a $20 DLC collection. Its better than reach, but not worthy of being called a full game. Can see that Microsoft have recognised this in the way they are going to stagger content delivery with H4.

my second favorite campaign after halo 1 just the mood it set ...i remember walking through the city dodging enemies and listening to the audio files literally trying to uncover what was going on ...and then ofcourse hours of firefight [Edited on 10.04.2012 6:19 PM PDT]

My favorite Halo game. It was and is, the greatest example of what Bungie can achieve. In such a short time period, they gave life to a wonderful noir-styled game with an amazing soundtrack, visuals, and overall environment. It felt like the world was crushing down on you, especially on the higher difficulties. I enjoyed being the Rookie the most, as the game was wonderful, dark, moody. You ducked away from brute patrols. Carefully and quietly took out enemies to ensure you didn't raise the alarm. Laid ambushes. It was wonderful. The characters were wonderful. The game was absolutely awesome. -blam!- the people who say otherwise.

Most underrated game in the series.

If only ODST wasn't limited to the campaign engine. If Bungie had more time, could you imagine if ODST had it's own multiplayer system like Halo 3? I would play that over Reach anyday.
-
liked it. also the multiplayer-cd was a good idea

Everything about this game is amazing. The campaign, the art, the soundtrack, firefight, the new perspective of Halo. Definitely worth the $60.
-
Yea thats what i did bro ... went out and got the game again . gets me hype for the HALO 4 movement ")

Today is actually three years from the day I started playing (was away at a work thing, friend picked up my pre-order for the Johnson firefight character). Words cannot express the enjoyment I get from this game. And the soundtrack - holy crap the soundtrack. The CD never leaves my car just in case I want to hear some of that epicness.
Posted by: Lobster Fish 2 I love this game and it spawned my love for my favorite Halo character, the Superintendent. Thank you ODST.
Also, ditto this ^ Thanks Bungie.

2nd favorite Halo. Such a shame that so little people actually play it just because it has no matchmaking
-
Happy Birthday ODST. :)

I enjoyed ODST for the wealth of information and understanding it brought from a different perspective of the Halo Universe. I thought it was neat to play a game that took place at the same time as another just from a different point of view, expanding what we knew about what was going on.
-
I really enjoyed Halo 3:ODST it was one of the best Halo games especially for the development time.

I'm trying to get a play-through session with my friends going ext summer when we all have xboxs again. It will be fun

Still is my favorite game.

Halo 3: ODST is by far, my favorite campaign next to Halo 3 and Halo 2. It was the most creative halo. I love the night edition of the campaign. It is a bit confusing but is very fun. I enjoy playing Halo 3: ODST with my friends.

Three years? REALLY? That's unbelievable. Great game, and it'll always be a favorite of mine.
-
I love this game and it spawned my love for my favorite Halo character, the Superintendent. Thank you ODST.

It was an awesome game. I wish it had more though. If I have enough free time I'll be playing it today.
