Remembering the Reach forum

I had saved the thread and had intention of replying at some point, only to find it has been locked. The idea of a mechanical skill gap is something I would like to discuss at some point, centered around the idea of whether aiming is particularly important, and how H2 was the quintessential game in striking a balance between the illusion of an FPS, in the conventional sense, and the potential for strategy to take precedence in a shooter. Through my interactions here I became less a fanboy and more a person whose opinion actually meant something. I did it while donned out in orange and have many of you to thank for that change. <3 I can only hope that in the future I might again feel so passionate about a gaming community.[/quote] Agreed 100%

Ok, nothing new to talk about ... and kinda odd given the "[i]Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe[/i]" public disclaimer, but then their desperate clinging to that memory as if they have nothing further to offer ... but still it has some member who will never let go.
