http://www.examiner.com/article/halo-4-limited-edition-content-images-are-released From the picture it looks like Halo 4 will come on two discs. Probably one for campaign and another for multiplayer.

I pre-ordered the limited edition today from Best buy because they're the only people that have release day delivery.

Posted by: Kaiman Posted by: Gottalovec4 Posted by: Elder Bias Posted by: Gottalovec4 Thats the collectors edition. Its probably more like one disc is the game, the other is extra stuff. Remember how the Halo 4 Heroic came with 2 discs in the same case? One for the game and one for the studio tour and stuff? Probably just that. No, that's 2 discs. They confirmed that you have to download 8 gb of multiplayer for Halo 4 which it means that it will be two discs. I think they found a way to expand Forge and Spartan Ops via prompting us to download 8 gb of multiplayer. And most of codes on special stuff is pastered on codes in packets, not on dvd. If you think second disc is FuD movie, that's been debunked too. They said FuD will be downloadable via waypoint. Well blam. I wish people would realize that most of us don't have the new fancy xbox with the 250GB hardrive. Im running an Arcade with a disc tray I have to pry open with a knife and my original Pro's 60G hardrive. Dunno how Im making room for an 8GB download. You can get a 120gb hard drive for the old xbox for cheap at GameStop.Or get a few flash drives.

You know me as raganok99, right? :P Anyway, glad to help people to save 100-150 bucks. Microsoft likes to overprice their products because they want our moneyz. :P

Posted by: Haloroach Posted by: SweetTRIX Hopefully it means that the campaign will be nice and full of content. Posted by: SweetTRIX Hopefully it means that the campaign will be nice and full of content. Exactly. I gladly welcome multiple discs. Hell they can give me more than two if they want. I want them to really push the xboxs capabilities to it's max. I don't want things cut because of disk space. I welcome this.

Posted by: Xd00999 Personal preference, but I would rather not spend ~$30 on a hard drive while I still have 55 GB left. If I do upgrade, it won't be until that number is much smaller. I see. Maybe it's best for you to erase some stuff or save ~20-30 gb for Halo 4? Otherwise, 55 GB isn't enough considering that there is lot of new games and even you have to consider that Halo 4 will bring DLCs in as well, which it would eat up space of HDD pretty much, so I think it's wise to get new HDD to make room for new games and Halo 4 stuff. Just sayin'.

Posted by: Elder Bias Posted by: Xd00999 8 gigs? My hard drive is already half full! I wish there was an option to leave the multiplayer on the second disk so that you don't have to download all that stuff onto your hard drive. Sorry, 343i said it's mandatory to download it. If you have limited space size, you can buy bigger HDD size for cheaper prices. My link (previous post) had 320 gb HDD for slim for like, 50 bucks compared to 150 for Microsoft products. I still have ~130 GB left, so I don't need to worry about it for now. Personal preference, but I would rather not spend ~$30 on a hard drive while I still have 55 GB left. Posted by: Elder Bias Posted by: Stoneenergy Well, if it's going to be like the OP said, at least I don't have to switch discs constantly like I have to in Mass Effect. You just have to download ~8 GB of multiplayer from second disc, that's all. Then you should able to play on one disc so far. :) 8 gigs? My hard drive is already half full! Keep in mind, everyone- if you have HDD problems (due to limited space size), you can purchase Jasper (Arcade, Pro and Elite) model's HDD (120 GB) for $20 to $30 on Amazon. 250 gig for old models, its $45 to 50. For anyone having slim model, you can purchase 250 gb HDD (designed for slim) for $30 on Amazon too and last time I remember correctly, 320 gb HDD costs about $40 now. I'll get you links soon. Example: 250 GB HDD for old model Example 2: Slim 320gb HDD Keep in mind, prices vary, just find cheapest one for best space size.

Whoah Whoah Whoah? You have to download FuD on Waypoint? Halo 4 Limited Edition keeps getting worse and worse. There's nothing really worth collecting here anyway... Halo 2 - Commentary DVD Halo 3 - Helmet, Commentary DVD Halo: Reach - Mini. Statue, Diary w/ tons of nic-nacs. Halo 4 - In Game Content, 15 minutes of extra DOWNLOADED footage, and very few Halo-Lore documents. Microsoft and 343i, I'm a little disgusted.

I've got an Arcade with only about 2GB left on the hard drive, the eject button doesn't work, I need to use the controller to open and close the tray, sometimes the tray doesn't want to open, I have to knock on the side of the Xbox for it to even read, and even then sometimes it doesn't read. It's just a terrible Xbox.

Posted by: STUPID RUSSIAN73 That's the Limited Collector's Edition. One disc is for the normal stuff (campaign, multiplayer, etc.) and the other is for the Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn and extra stuff if I'm correct. Wrong. Second disc is for multiplayer (download 8 Gb of them). And wrong on FuD & extra stuff on second disc as well. Have you read news or article from 343i? They confirmed that FuD is not on disc, it's on code to access to the waypoint to download FuD movie. And extra stuff is on packets in LE edition with codes. For plus, please read my recent posts.

It's pretty much confirmed at this point that the second disc is an install for the mupltplayer, like with Forza. In fact it was a month or two ago. And for those complaining about lack of space, USB drives and regular hard drives aren't that expensive.

Halo 3 Legendary had two discs, one with DVD content, the other with the game itself. I expect the same. Why would they jam HD video onto a Campaign/Multiplayer Disc? Seems illogical to me.
