I am a little bit disappointed about All Stars Week 3
In the respect i had a little more hope than usual because they said (and i quote): 'so don't be intimidated by the awe-inspiring artisans of the Bungie Community.'
So i thought maybe this will be my chance!
I did make a submission which i thought had a good idea but was a little bad compared to the awe-inspiring artisans of the Bungie Community.
So after seeing this weeks update and the highlight submissions.
They were all amazing. Not one was by the average member who tried even though they have no picture editing skills.
I thought it was unfair to do that :/ anyone else think so?
And here another week where only amazing artists can win. Nice.. :(

My "Master Sloth" was tossed up there in the update. I really didn't think it would even be mentioned since I really didn't do anything special to it other than just mask Sloth's head on MC's body. Was neat to see it up there though. I woulda done something completely from scratch, but with other obligations that was a little hard, so I went quick and dumb. The winner deserved the win by far. Great stuff. The new contest I think is going to be real fun to do. [Edited on 01.28.2011 7:50 PM PST]

Although, I agree that most of the winners were really great artists, and I think they should let amateurs have a shot at it because otherwise only artistic people have an opportunity to even make it on the page.

I thought i showed a diverse range of skill, but yeah, kinda leaning toward higher artist level this round, still showed other skethces tho, i just didnt like this week really generally, just the prompt, wish it was like, master chief doing something cool, drawing his face = eh

They would solve the problems if they had categories. Art (Digital or Hand Done) Photoshop Yeah, you want to keep the Star exclusive but considering how many members there are on Bungie I am sure giving 2 out a week instead of 1 will not oversaturate the market.

I'm not really an artist if you think that, but I just did my best...obviously that wasn't good enough :( . I liked most submissions, but I'd like to see some moving images in the future sometimes. Like these awesome entries that weren't even featured.
