First Person Driving?!?!!?!!?!
In the little trailer before you go into the reach beta you get a clip of someone driving a warthog in first person, It looks so fun! I was wondering if anyone knew if that in the full game there will be first person driving. Much appriciate if someone could tell me if there is :-)

As I said before, I said this years back in Halo CE, and I said it 1,000,000 on the Blog. And, FPD is vary hard to do, look at the First person driving mod.

It'll be harder, but it makes it more realistic. Nothing I can't get used to.

There should at least be an option. I always loved shooting first person from the warthog passenger in Halo CE, driving would be a dream come true

That was the passenger seat unless Warthogs are now European with the driver seat on the right.

nah, they would just have a display screen and for the banshee, they could do what they do with futuristic jets in games like Ace Combat 10 [Edited on 05.15.2010 6:54 AM PDT]

That's what I was thinking. finally, a group of people who realizes the awesomeness of first person driving after all, that is why my name is daStig (you know, that mysterious racer dude from top gear) who am I kidding, if you watch the show you know who he is, but anyways, when you have the chance go check out the website at www.topgear.com and look for a dude with a white helmet named Stig. Is the person driving it in the clip? I assumed he was in the passenger seat on the right, although my perception might have been thrown by the way we drive on the other side here in the UK ;)

Remember in Halo: CE, when you'd get into the Passenger Seat of the Warthog, and it was still First Person? You can't tell me that wasn't cool. Now, if they brought that back, that would be pretty cool. Now, if they translated that to any of the other passenger seats of the other vehicles, that would be cool, too. also first person passenger seat would be usefull so as to add to the ability of the passenger

cool, yeh being able to change would be good so then it wouldnt force people which like 3rd person into first in the campaign as you say and people which like 1st person into 3rd for multiplayer

I would like to have a option to change your view though, first person driving is far more intense than third person.
