Monty Python
Hey, Does anyone else love Monty Python and the Holy Grail? I thought it ruled. My favorite part is this,
King Arthur, when they come across the wizard playing with fire,
"Who are you that can summon fire and tinder?!"
"I...am an enchanter!" (then the enchanter throws fire like a flame thrower.)
"Yes, I can see that, but what is your name good sir?"
"There are some who call me.....................Tim?"
F-ing hilarious in the movie. I dont know if you can get the full effect here. Anyway, anybody else?

I love Holy Grail! I have the DVD set... Life of Brian was good, but not as good, and the Meaning of Life was just weird (but that short before the movie was classic, you know where the old insurance agents take fan blades as swords and their building sails off).

My fave bit is the witch trial. Scientist: Witches float, yes. Crowd: Yes. Scientist: What else floats? Crowd: Wood, clouds (etc.), A DUCK. Scientist: Excelent a duck, If this woman weighs the same amount as a duck then she is a witch. Fantastic.

It has a few hidden things in it. And who didn't laugh with the names of the local Roman ruler and his wife (Ludus Lullus and Incontinentia if I'm not mistaken?) -Meaning of Life: Imo almost right up there with The Holy Grail. yep...great movie. the scene with the black knight is still one of the funniest things i've ever seen. and i especially love the part where lancelot comes to the rescue of the groom to be. jesus, i still laugh my ass off when i see that.
