Probably more than Anniversary does, though Anniversary drops frames so ungracefully that I prefer the original game's performance as a whole. The only spot which is decidedly in CEA's favour performance-wise is the Maw run, which functions like an absolute joke in a few places on the original Xbox. I'm always baffled when people claim that the original Halo runs silky smooth. It's commonly claimed, but totally false. I think maybe people remember it like that because it feels pretty good due to [i]usually[/i] running fine and [i]never[/i] doing things like going into perpetual judder mode (unlike CEA and Halo 3, ugh).
